Tenerife And La Gomera Golf Circuit Is A Winner At Golf Del Sur

It was on to Golf Del Sur for the second of this fifth years Tenerife and La Gomera Golf Circuit and the continuing hot weather pulled in 162 players all keen to make their mark. The course was in top form and the breeze off the Atlantic helped to cool the competitive nerves.

The growing reputation of the circuit has proved a big winner with sponsors. Winners had to be on top form to lift their prizes, nearest the flag at the ninth hole was Tomás Velazquez Armas with 103 cm. The best senior was Sergio Fernandez Bethencourt with 41 points and best scratch player went to Rodrigo Hérnandez Díaz with 37 points. Longest drive was won by Francisca Reyes Martín at the 18 th hole and for the men Claudio Franccioni claimed it at the 12 th hole.
