All the top names from the Ladies European Tour will be on the scoreboard at Golf Las Americas as the Spanish Ladies Open showcases golf at its best and Tenerife underlines its position as a holiday resort of beauty and unbeatable hospitality.
The leading professionals like Nikki Garrett of Australia and Carlota Ciganda of Spain are making a welcome return to the course where they have enjoyed previous competitions. The Brits will again be hard to beat, Felicity Johnson (above) and Becky Brewerton have both lifted silverware before at Golf Las Americas, Becky from Wales has played several of the Tenerife courses but has special memories of last years victory in the Tenerife Ladies Match Play.
The easy access location of Golf Las Americas and its closeness to the main motorway, airport, and vibrant nightlife of Playa de Las Americas will ensure a large following of spectators from the Pro Am on 19 September and all the way through the main event from 20 to 23 September. Play starts daily at 8.30 am and it’s free to watch, golf enthusiasts further afield will be able to see the best of the play via 35 international TV channels, 206 including highlights and news round ups.
