The recent tragedy at Los Gigantes beach showed the worth of such immediate coverage. one of the team, John Beckley was nearby when the rock fall occurred, his second move was to record the scene on camera to share with others. John’s first response was to pitch in and help clearing some of the rocks. With much confusion surrounding the tragedy, Tenerife Magazine was able to present the facts as soon as possible. The photos were put on the Flickr account and made available for any media outlets to use free of charge, the account got a staggering 4,380 hits just on that day.
