If you are going to test yourself against nature there can be no better place to do it than in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote. On 14 April 2012 Sands Beach Resort presents the fourth Spring Duathlon through the inspiring area of Los Alcones, and everyone is invited.
The challenge consists of a 5 km run, a 20 km bike ride, and finishes with a further 2.5 km run. There are several categories so you can compete with your own age group and ability level but you need to sign up by 10 April – just call Andres Medina on 687844258.
This is just part of a busy sporting programme through the year in Lanzarote, Sands Beach Resort always like to get involved and encourage visitors to experience the great range of sporting options on offer. The Duathlon will begin and end at Sands Beach Resort in Avenida Islas Canarias and even if you are not taking part it will be a enjoyable spectacle to watch.
