In the heights of a Tenerife summer few can resist the lure of the golf course, throw in some tough opponents, good company and a cheap stay in Arona Gran Hotel, and it becomes almost irresistable. That’s what is on offer for the 2010 Spring Hotels Golf Tournament at Golf Las Americas on 25 September.
This is the third annual event and includes the famous on course drinks and snacks as you play – all very civilised. After the cut and thrust on the greens there will be prize presentations and a grand prize draw. All this and the pleasure of playing one of the top courses in the south, Golf Las Americas is a well prepared venue that enjoys sedate scenery just a few minutes walk from the main beaches.
If you want to give in to temptation, you can book a mini break at the four star Arona Gran Hotel, in nearby Los Cristianos, for just 50 euros per person per night half board. There are two or three night breaks to choose from and that includes green fees for players and accompanying persons.
